Motu Special is now back for 2018, once again with races for all ages. Motu Special features classic mountain bike terrain at Motu, Eastland. Lots of hills, lots of fun.
The day will again support Motu Community House.

    > Trophies for male/female 50km winners!             > Spot prizes!

Major SPOT Prize for this years event!

“ the Motu Special will be having another bike as a major spot prize for this year’s event being held on Sunday 26 August.
It is an Avanti Montari 4 size medium. Retail value of $1349.99. NO EXCHANGES.
This prize is for ALL adult races including the Electric Bike Experience.
We hope your training is going well and look forward to a rush of entries once this is announced.”

Electric Village 

PLUS all NEW 2018  -  Electric Village ebike experience

The course will start outside The Motu Community House - firstly loop the village then over the bridge as per usual  but instead of turning left for the other 3 courses - turn right onto Marumoko Road and ride out and 

'Turn around' where the other races join Marumoko Road and back to the Motu Community House.

This course is all gravel road ( not farmland) - distance is approx... 16km ...  Entry Fee: $20
