Was created out of comments made by parents regarding Cornerstone Pre-School. The bolder and larger the Word and Font used - simply reflects the number of times that comment was expressed.
Cornerstone Preschool is a community based centre that have been operating in the heart of Kaiti for the last 27 years. From humble beginnings as a playgroup in the New Life church, Cornerstone Preschool grew to a Centre licensed to take 30 children aged 2-5 years old. We offer 20 free ECE hours and WINZ to those families that qualify.
The Centre is committed to ensure each child receives a quality education that incorporates the Bible principles and Te Whāriki, the Early Childhood Curriculum. We encourage each child to acquire an appreciation of their own individuality, awareness of their worth as a child of God and a place in our community and God’s world.
We have a multicultural staff that consists of Tongan, Māori, Cook Islander, South African and pakeha teachers, who are passionate about teaching our tamariki through loving relationships.
We have children from a wide variety of cultures which makes for a culturally inclusive environment aimed at offering the very best for our children and their families.
Cornerstone received a very complimentary report during their last ERO visit,
